An urban refuge for the entire family

If you are tired of the city’s noise, The Bellevue Manila can be your refuge. It is way different from other 5-star hotels in the busy Manila scene, as it is located in the more upscale Alabang area, surrounded by the tranquillity of trees and a sense of calmness in the hectic city. Soothe your tired bodies with the hotel’s cosy yet luxurious suites, multiple dining destinations, and a wide array of entertainment and fitness amenities. We have been to Bellevue three times already and it never disappoints. This time, we came back as a family of four (plus our 2 helpers), and we are thankful to have stayed at their luxurious and spacious Tower Premier Suite. 

The Bellevue Manila’s Tower Premier Suite is a 2-bedroom suite with a living area. Each room has a king-sized bed, which was probably the main highlight of our stay. It was super comfy and huge that we just loved relaxing in our bed all day long. Even our little kids enjoyed hanging out on our bed, just reading books and playing around with mum and dad. There is a huge TV inside the room as well, which had Netflix much to our delight. The set-up is just perfect, especially for families seeking a restful experience in the heart of the city. 

Renowned Bellevue hospitality

When we arrived in our suite, we were welcomed with two complimentary bottles of wine and cakes which we thoroughly enjoyed. This tells a lot about what they call “Bellevue hospitality”. You will know what we are talking about as soon as you arrive at the hotel – the warm smiles of their staff will make you feel right at home. To our lovely surprise, the staff also provided us with two baby bathtubs in our bathroom. We did not ask for tubs at all, so we truly appreciate the kind gesture. 

A wide array of fun and relaxing activities 

For the most relaxing stay, we highly recommend getting a massage at The Azurea Spa, where you can enjoy a warm jacuzzi and dry sauna on top of the rejuvenating spa treatments. Though, if getting soaked with oil is not your cup of tea, you can always head up to Bellevue’s pool and take a refreshing dip with the incredible view of the metropolis right in front of you. 

As for the food, the breakfast buffet at Café d’Asie was pretty decent. We especially enjoyed their Chinese noodle soup and egg station. For dinner, indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine at Hanakazu. Trust us, their fresh sashimi was such a delight! Then, cap off the night with a drink (or two) at Vue Bar. Located on the 22nd floor of Bellevue, you will get to enjoy your drink whilst staring out the glittering city skyline of Alabang. If you want a more romantic atmosphere, there is also a bar tucked within Vue Bar – Cellar 22 – where you can sample the finest liquor in the market. 

We enjoyed the same high level of comfort and service in our 3 experiences at The Bellevue Manila. It just never disappoints. We are quite sure that this will not be our last time! 3. TwoBedroom Deluxe Suite, The Alpha Suites

Stylish and luxe spaces that make you feel right at home

A hidden jewel in the heart of Makati, Metro Manila, The Alpha Suites boasts luxury serviced apartments that might just be your perfect home away from home. We are thankful to have spent a few days in this amazing hotel, so amazing that it was recognised as a Tripadvisor 2022 Traveler’s Choice “Best of the Best” awardee. 

We got to stay in their Two-Bedroom Deluxe  Suite, where we felt right at home with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious living areas, ample storage and closet spaces, comfortable beds, and modern bathrooms. There was even a washing machine and a dryer to help you out with your laundry, which are just perfect if you plan to stay in Manila for a longer period. As much as we enjoyed their incredibly luxe amenities, what we truly loved the most about our hotel suite was the view. If possible, be sure to stay in a suite on a higher floor – you will definitely not regret it! The most picturesque view of the bustling central business district of Makati awaits. 

9 acclaimed specialty restaurants for a complete gastronomic adventure 

Being located in the heart of the city, The Alpha Suites is just a few steps away from everything you could possibly need. The hospital, police station, fire station, supermarket, convenience stores and shopping centres are all within walking distance; there are restaurants too in case you get hungry. It is really convenient! However, nothing is more convenient than having 9 well-rated specialty restaurants just an elevator away ride from your comfortable suite. Yes, The Alpha Suites is home to 9 world-class restaurants, all specialising in different cuisines. So whether you are craving Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Greek, Spanish, Italian, French, or American food – there is always something for you. 

Among all, what we highly recommend is the Tang Palace Chinese Restaurant. Our team had a birthday celebration there and we truly enjoyed every dish. The decadent Peking Duck is definitely a must-try! Our dinner was made more special by the kind and friendly staff who worked so hard to provide us with good food. It seems like everyone at The Alpha Suites was really nice and warm – the true epitome of Filipino hospitality. 

A relaxing and fun getaway in the heart of the city

Aside from going on a worldwide gastronomic adventure, The Alpha Suites provide guests of all ages with an extensive range of entertainment facilities. Despite being at the heart of a busy city, you will not feel like you are cooped in. There is a small cinema, game and karaoke centres, a virtual golf room, indoor tennis, badminton, basketball and squash courts, a martial arts arena, an expansive lagoon-style swimming pool with a spectacular view of the metro – you will never run out of things to do here!  For those travelling with kids, there are also indoor and outdoor playgrounds where your little ones can go. We especially enjoyed our daily breakfast at Veranda – a delightful experience with a wide array of options to choose from. Apart from the excellent food, the restaurants add to the extravagant dining experience with their plush and chic furniture and amazing views.

Come lunchtime, TAZA Fresh Table unveils a delectable array of garden-fresh culinary creations, sourced from Tagaytay’s finest local suppliers. These dishes are lovingly prepared and served within the serene and rejuvenating confines of this specialty restaurant, which has a refreshing garden view. Our top favourites from their menu are the Hanger Steak and Short Beef Ribs. And to gracefully conclude our day, the hotel’s ALTA Ridge Bar is the ultimate destination, offering an extensive selection of cocktails and beverages in a charming setting amidst the breathtaking city lights.
