Our usual experiences with hotel arrivals would be seeing reception tables once we enter, but at Conrad Manila, the experience was quite different. The moment the lift doors opened, as we stepped foot into the spacious lobby, we were welcomed with a panoramic view of Manila Bay – azure blue skies, ocean waves and the iconic MOA Eye, the tallest Ferris wheel in the Philippines. The view was nothing short of incredible and the arrival experience felt surreal. During your wedding day, I can imagine how your guests will be stunned by the magical welcome upon their arrivals.

One of our favourite activities was to go to C Lounge to admire the amazing bay view as dawn turns to dusk. Come sunset hours, the entire skyline lights up with a beautiful warm orange glow. Thanks to the full-length windows that cover the entire breadth of the lounge, you can enjoy the panoramic sunset view in indoor air-conditioned comforts, with a refreshing cocktail in your hand. 

Alternatively, if you want to enjoy the outdoor breeze, there are comfortable seatings at the alfresco balcony. 

6. Indulge in specialty dining at China Blue by Jereme Leung

It is not an exaggeration to label China Blue by Jereme Leung at Conrad Manila as one of the best Chinese restaurants we have dined at. The ambience is elegant and sophisticated, the service is warm and welcoming and most importantly, the food is delicious and innovative. 

Dining in the restaurants’ posh ambience was remarkable, for they have comfortable plush sofa seating that you can literally fall asleep in. Hanging from the ceiling are glittering blue chandeliers. And consistent with the entire hotel’s design, floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow you to look out into the horizon and admire the views of the Manila Bay. 

Chef Jereme Leung offers diners a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese cuisine, a gourmet experience that is quite frankly, unforgettable. Did you know that he is a Singaporean? Must-try dishes include the honey-glazed pork neck barbecue, the wok-fried U.S beef tenderloin cubes and the simmered snow-fish. These were our top favourites and left us with a lasting impression. You can host a Chinese wedding here in their private room that can host up to 18 guests, perfect for intimate family occasions. The private room has one of the best views in the hotel, as it is situated on the corner of the building and has a 270-degree view of the bay.

During your stay at Conrad Manila, look forward to waking up to remarkable views of the ocean or city each morning. We suggest the bay view rooms for the surreal experience of waking up to the ocean. Where walls usually are, is floor-to-ceiling windows. The curtains even automatically get drawn with just a touch of a button!

Breakfast is served at Brasserie on 3, where you can continue to enjoy the sea views. All-day dining is also available here in its innovative menu. The restaurant emphasizes on using the finest seasonal produce, which means that all dishes are made from organic, locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. Be awed by the open kitchen and live cooking stations, which add to the vibrant atmosphere of dining here. You can also ask to be seated on the outdoor terrace for an alfresco setting. The restaurant also has two private rooms that can seat 12 persons each, for a more private and intimate dining atmosphere. 

8. Indulge in pampering treatments at the Conrad Spa

The in-house spa at Conrad Manila offers you a unique pampering and relaxation experience. Here you can truly escape from the busyness of city life to unwind and rejuvenate, especially after the long preparations leading up to your wedding day. The spa has 6 treatment rooms (2 couples and 4 singles), soaking tubs and a private sauna and steam room. There are also sleeping pods here with oxygen concentrators for the ultimate recharge. And yes, they too have views of the Manila Bay. 

Other facilities include the huge fitness centre which is open 24-hours a day that has a full suite of machines and equipment. If you are a fitness lover, you can sign up for their high-energy fitness classes, or even have a professional create an exercise routine tailored for you.

On top of the luxurious facilities, delicious dining and state-of-the-art event spaces, what we loved the most about Conrad Manila were the people in it. Throughout our visit, we experienced the warm and professional hospitality from the staff. Each time we entered the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and friendly gestures from the bellboy and security staff at the lower lobby. The staff at the reception and concierge were kind with our requests, and the service staff at the restaurants were always warm and inviting. The positive atmosphere made the hotel atmosphere feel vibrant and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Conrad Manila and would definitely want to return. 

Conrad Manila is also very closely situated to the airport, just 15 minutes away and is easily accessible with the Expressway. The hotel also sits atop the two-level S Maison, a high-end retail mall that extends even more dining options for your stay. Conrad Manila is also just adjacent to SM Mall of Asia and the Mall of Asia Arena, for your shopping and leisure needs. There is also a carnival in front of Conrad Manila that stretches for about 20 minutes, for you to soak in the vibes and play vintage games. We had so much fun there reminiscing our childhood days.
