Discover Fascinating Bali at Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran

Home to a lot of culture and wildlife, Bali is truly a destination for many. With chic scenery that inspires fine arts and the loveliness of Bali, Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran is a place where you can explore the “Island of the Gods” in style. Located at Bali’s south west coastline, this family-friendly resort is at the heart of Jimbaran Village known for its traditional fishing community. It only takes a short drive from the Nguran Rai International Airport, so you can get accommodated into one of their generously sized rooms with ease.

What’s more, the white sands of Jimbaran Bay and attractions like the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Culture Park are just around the corner. Le Méridien even has amenities that will make you want to stay longer from activity areas to event spaces to bars and restaurants. Enjoy everything Bali has to offer and more in Le Méridien. If you are looking for more reasons to stay at Bali, we have a specially curated list of why you should choose the Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran Hotel among its many, many peers.

7 Reasons to Stay at the Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran

1. Be mesmerised by panoramic sea views

There are many sights to see in Bali, so why not take a look at everything from the top of Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran? Hop on over to their Smoqee Sky Bar or set up an event at one of their rooftop wedding venues, and bask in the sunset view of Jimbaran Bay. Every photo we took from here was IG-worthy. In fact, you can even enjoy the moment with some sweet and savoury bites, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails at the bar. Or collaborate with Marriott certified event planners and catering experts to have your big day in Bali and let everyone in your wedding guest list enjoy the Bali magic with you.

Speaking of which, the resort is only a short walk away from Jimbaran Beach. Not only can you opt to have a sunset wedding here, but you can also simply feast on freshly-caught seafood from its renowned traditional fish market. With a whole string of bars and restaurants like Menega, you can get up close to the sea view while tasting the locals’ grilled delights.

2. Enjoy quality time with the family

Once you are done enjoying the sunset views, it is time to head back and rest in one of Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran’s rooms. While there are 117 rooms, suites, penthouses, and villas to choose from, every option is nice and spacious fusing modern design with Balinese culture to create an inviting ambience. While there are stylish furnishings, cosy beds and sofas, and a mini fridge to boot, we especially loved their bathrooms complete with double vanities and a lighted makeup mirror. After you freshen up, you can chill and watch some movies on their Smart 3D LED TVs, then spend the morning with some coffee and great views from the balcony.

For our stay, we chose a hotel suite with direct access to the pool lagoon. For those travelling with kids, this can be a great choice since they can just jump straight to the water if they feel like swimming. If you want something more private, some suites offer their own whirlpools and deep soaking tubs for romantic getaways. There are even private pools for the more premium penthouses and villas.

Anyone, however, can enjoy the resort’s other amenities like the 24-hour fitness centre fully-equipped with free weights, treadmills, and other gym equipment. They also have a family kids’ club where your little ones can be entertained with various games and activities.

3. Play exciting games by the pool

Speaking of games, you get to interact and play with other guests in mini events organised by the staff. Every morning, they will set up activities by the pool for everyone to take part in. During our stay, we tried coconut bowling, makeshift golf, and beach volleyball. Not only was it a fun time, but you can even win a free mojito!

Once you are done with all the activities, you can swim up to the Pool Bar to get some refreshing drinks and maybe try their signature cocktails. Relax under the sun in this 1,300 square metre outdoor lagoon pool, while your kids enjoy a pool their own size, towels provided.

4. Feel pampered with their friendly staff

From the moment you enter the resort to the day-to-day experiences, you will notice just how nice and friendly the hotel staff can really be. Able to speak in English, Indonesian, and Malay, they can accommodate almost any request. And they always love to see you smiling!

In fact, during the mini event by the pool, one of the staff members remembered and called in the names of everyone swimming, so we could all join the games. From housekeeping to room service and more, you can really see that they pay attention to their guests. It is no wonder that Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran was one of Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Hotels for 2021.

If you are part of a business and are thinking about having a conference or seminar soon, you can invite your company to host one in their over 6,600 feet of upscale meeting venues. You can enjoy the ocean views from the Bale Banjar conference room while the resort’s catering team can prepare coffee breaks and banquets for your guests. Their event planners can even help you out with the latest audiovisual technology, whether you plan on having 150 attendees or just use the smaller venues and breakout rooms.

5. Tantalise your tastebuds on an impressive culinary journey

But of course, the dining does not stop there. With the goal of indulging the five palates with only the best local and organic produce, Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran is here to elevate your wine and dine experiences.

At their Bamboo Chic, fresh ingredients from Bedugul are made into unique dishes of Pan-Asian flavours catered to an authentic Balinese palate. You will adore the open-kitchen backdrop as chefs prepare your buffet or a la carte meals. While we waited for set menus made with freshly-caught seafood from Jimbaran, we enjoyed tasting the roasted pumpkin soup!

In the morning, they offer buffet breakfast with lots of options. We loved everything from the Indonesian food to the bread, croissants, and Danish pastries. They even have cappuccino and caramel macchiato to complement your meal aside from the regular black coffee.

Another unique concept by the resort is Le Scoop at WaLa offering fine-crafted gelato, snacks like french fries and croffles, and tea and smoothies.

Outside the resort, you can try the nearby La Brasserie for more Asian specialities with some French cuisine. Or try out the first Mediterranean beach club in the province at Ibiza in Bali.

6. Rejuvenate your mind and body at the Serenity Spa

When you have had your fill and just want to take out all the stress from your joints and muscles, then look no further than Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran’s Serenity Spa. Let them be a part of your wellness journey with a comprehensive menu of treatments. From facials and massages to body wraps and Ayurveda, they have it all with many of them using plant-based ingredients.

We love how they will even cater the treatments to your preferences. If that back of yours is always aching, then you can let them focus on your back and shoulders. If you and your partner are feeling tension in the muscles and need a boost of energy, their “Combinasian” massage will put Shiatsu and Thai techniques to work. Take it from us, the massage was great!

Check out some of the resort’s deals and get discounts for using the spa and salon.

7. Explore the best of Indonesian culture

After feeling relaxed and energised, you might want to take a look around and appreciate the rest of the hotel. With so many paintings and sculptures, it felt like walking around an art gallery! But the rest of the stay does not stop there.

Near the resort are some well-known natural and cultural attractions in Bali. Purchase unique ceramic tableware and curated decor from Jenggala Keramik Bali to bring home as souvenirs. If you are feeling adventurous, you can explore the wildlife at the Bali Safari and Marine Park or watch over 20-foot high waves crash into the reefs of Waterblow.

Our favourite site is the famous Pura Uluwatu, one of the most revered Hindu sea temples. We recommend going there to take in the spectacular cliff views and watch the Kecak fire dance show at sunset. The show was definitely entertaining!
