Discover a fun-filled, family oriented beachfront paradise at Hilton Bali Resort
Perched atop a 130-foot cliff in the upscale Nusa Dua, Hilton Bali Resort is everything that you envisioned paradise to be. With the sparkling azure sea just a stone’s throw away, lush tropical gardens, sweeping views, and contemporary Balinese architecture – the resort looks like it was straight out of an Indonesian postcard. The best part is, you can enjoy this paradise even with your little ones in tow! In this article, we will share more reasons why you should choose Hilton Bali Resort for a blissful, paradise-like hotel stay experience on Earth.
6 reasons to stay at the dreamy, family-friendly Hilton Bali Resort
1. Step away from the bustling beach scene
Hilton Bali Resort is located on the far southern end of Nusa Dua, so your serene vacation will not be disturbed by the noise and clamour of nearby tourist spots. The high-end shopping, dining, and entertainment centres are pretty far away, too, though we are sure that you will not be bored with the myriad of activities you can do inside the resort. But of course, if you wish to explore Nusa Dua, you may opt to ask the lobby for help booking taxis that will drive you around the area.
For more privacy, the resort also features a private beach where you can simply wind down and relax. If you fancy a drink while lounging by the beach, there’s also a beach bar where you can grab one, along with some snacks. There are plenty of spots for some photo ops, too!
Meanwhile, fun-seeking guests can enjoy an array of water activities like swimming and surfing. If you are keen, you can even go snorkelling, scuba diving, and sailing outside Hilton’s property! You may ask their staff for the full list of activities to do for your entire week of stay in the resort. Trust us, you will never run out of fun things to do at Hilton Bali Resort!
2. The ultimate family destination
Contrary to popular belief, Bali is not just a honeymoon destination. It can be a paradise for families as well, and in fact, we have visited the island multiple times already since we had our babies! Hilton Bali Resort is one of the many family resorts on the island – and it definitely exceeded our expectations.
The resort is super massive with lots of beautiful pools (did someone mention slides?), and kids will surely love playing around the pool and building sandcastles safely in the middle of the resort while you soak up the sun. And all with a stunning sea view! Meanwhile, older kids and adults can enjoy playing volleyball and basketball in the pool. Yes, you heard us right, inside the pool!
We also love how Hilton Bali Resort has an incredibly fun Kids’ Club where the youngsters can have the time of their lives. The Kids’ Club is jungle themed, making it perfect for your little explorers. There’s even a treehouse, trampoline, and a rock wall climbing area (with the walls dripping in vines) inside!
For kids who prefer to explore the great outdoors, Hilton Bali Resort also offers exciting outdoor child-friendly activities like fish and camel feeding. And if you are keen, you and your kid can ride a camel and walk on the beach. It was a pretty fun experience for both kids and adults. It was pretty surprising, too, as we never thought that there would be camels in Bali.
3. Soak up scenic beachfront views in their luxurious suites
The stunning sea view of Bali never fails me. It has always been amazing, so I love how I could stare at the sea almost anytime I want when we stayed at Hilton Bali Resort. It was always breezy at the resort, too, which makes it a perfect summer destination.
Every suite in the resort features a private balcony or terrace overlooking the ocean or pool lagoon. On our recent stay there, we booked connecting Executive Rooms with Direct Lagoon Pool Access, and while it did not provide stunning sea views, it was lovely that we could go straight to the main pool first thing in the morning. Perfect if you have your whole family with you! The balcony was also quite a nice place to relax and watch people go by. If you prefer a bit more privacy, you may also opt to stay in their pool villas instead.
The executive rooms also come with access to the resort’s Executive Lounge with free-flow cocktails and wine. We highly recommend going here if you fancy a drink or two in the evening.
4. Incredible beachfront dining experiences
What’s better than a picturesque beachfront view? For me, it is enjoying the view with delectable dishes! At Hilton Bali Resort, the food tastes so much better as the ambience is really perfect there. We especially loved dining at The Shores Restaurant & Bar, which was a 3-story dining destination that accommodates up to 170 persons. This restaurant aims to take guests on a Mediterranean-inspired and styled dining experience that will bring you on a culinary journey with a range of elements, textures, colours and flavours.
The restaurant’s al fresco area was perfect for breakfast. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, but of course, the best part was still the view. And if you head out from the breakfast area to the lawn nearby, that is another great spot for more photo ops. Indeed, there are quite a lot of photo opportunities at Hilton Bali Resort.
On one night, Hilton Bali Resort also hosted us for a BBQ night with free-flow prawns, clams, satay, beef, chicken, and a lot more good food. That was such a nice experience!
Hilton Bali Resort is also home to Paon Bali Resto and Bar, which is renowned for its weekly Balinese-themed buffet dinner. What makes the dining experience even better is the restaurant’s open kitchen concept, which allows guests to watch the chefs in action as they prepare contemporary Bali dishes to perfection. You’d even see how they roast the famous babi guling, which I believe is an integral part of our whole Bali experience.
5. Experience heartfelt Bali traditions in their dinner amphitheatre
Although the Nusa Dua Theatre (best place for some Devdan dancing and acrobatic shows!) is just a few minutes away, you can still watch cultural performances without leaving the resort. Hilton Bali Resort has its very own outdoor amphitheatre, so on some nights, you may head over there to have your dinner while also being delighted with live Balinese dancing. Perfect for a family date night!
We also got to dress up little Ally in a cute traditional Balinese costume for a quick photoshoot.
6. The perfect venue for your dream wedding in Bali
The beautiful sea also makes a great backdrop for a wedding, so it is not surprising that Hilton Bali Resort is one of the most sought-out wedding venues in Bali. Their lush grounds can accommodate more guests, and it always feels nice to say ‘I do’ at sunset amidst the gentle breeze and soothing sound of the sea.
Do you prefer an indoor wedding? Hilton Bali Resort has thought of that, too! For an intimate wedding, seal your love at the Wiwaha Wedding Chapel. The chapel is also perched on a cliff and is built with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, so even if your wedding is held indoors, the view from the outside is still breathtaking.
For much larger weddings, Hilton Bali Resort also features a 1000 square-metre Graha Paruman Ballroom, as well as an 800 square-metre Graha Sawangan Ballroom. Both venues are pillarless, so they can accommodate more people than usual and you are free to experiment with any wedding set-up that you want.
Overall, we must say that Hilton Bali Resort is the perfect family destination in the tropical paradise of Bali. We loved the great service from the staff, especially with the attention they gave us and our little ones. We also loved how both kids and adults will never run out of things to do in this massive resort, with the multiple pools, Kids’ club, private beach, and so on. Perfect for families, really!
