Depending on the luxe stay you are looking forward to, each suite is meticulously designed with marble bathrooms, plush living spaces, and breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf from the floor-to-ceiling windows. We stayed in a 2-Bedroom Family Suite, and it was spacious enough for our little family, so imagine staying at the hotel’s four or five-bedroom suites! 

More than the spaciousness, what we loved about Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites hotel suites is how most of them come with their private pool. It is like relaxing in your very own private villa, except you are in the vibrant city of Dubai. Imagine waking up to the gentle lapping of waves on your private balcony (which has the best view by the way), or hosting an intimate gathering in your spacious living room – truly luxury at its finest.

Aside from the beach, we enjoyed hanging out by Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites’s choice for pools. We love how some of them are heated, which makes them ideal for swimming during Dubai’s wintertime. Plus, their pools have swim-up bars too, so you can order cocktails and mocktails while lounging around the water. You can probably do that all day long too if you want! 

If taking a dip is not quite your vibe at the moment, we highly recommend unwinding on their plush sun loungers and cosy pool cabanas instead. Really relaxing!

We had such a lovely time exploring the hotel’s dining options, and we especially enjoyed the fact that they are true to being an all-inclusive destination. L’Olivo Ristorante

Among all the restaurants, our personal favourite is L’Olivo Ristorante, which serves a decadent Italian and Mediterranean dinner.  From the mouth-watering mushroom risotto and lobster bisque risotto to the succulent arrabbiata and the unforgettable slow-cooked beef short ribs (so tender and flavourful!), each bite is a symphony of taste sensations. Don’t forget to indulge in the decadent chocolate pudding and creamy panna cotta for dessert! Trust us, you will not be disappointed.

Let’s not forget the desserts

As you dine, immerse yourself in the ambience of live musical performances, adding an extra layer of enchantment to your evening. The violin music matches the restaurant’s romantic ambience. But great food and ambience aside, our experience was made even more special by Diwan, one of the restaurant’s staff. Thank you for the wonderful service and all the amazing food recommendations!

Toro Loco

Savour succulent steaks at Toro Loco – home for carnivores who would appreciate premium beef cuts. The Argentina ribeye steaks are our favourites, and we highly recommend that you ask for medium rare as they tend to be more tender.  Sami, the incredibly friendly (and funny) restaurant manager hosted us really well and helped us with our reservation as we had extra guests.

Bodrum

Bodrum is another must-try restaurant at Rixos The Palm Luxury Suite Collection. This restaurant brings the flavours of Turkish cuisine in a venue inspired by the coastal town. In fact, at night, it is about the lively atmosphere, filled with the sounds of live music and the sights of cultural showcases, creating an unforgettable seaside escape right here in Dubai.

As for the food, every dish tells a story of tradition and indulgence. I especially loved their spicy prawn appetizer dish – I could not resist ordering it not once, not twice, but three times! And then there was the slow-cooked octopus, a truly distinctive option that left a lasting impression.

For a sweet treat, you can head to Patisserie Istanbul where you can enjoy freshly baked and artisanal pastries you will appreciate with afternoon tea while taking in the panoramic views of the city. Or at night, you can go to one of Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites’s bars to cap off the night with a well-deserved drink!

Who says you can’t have the best when travelling with your kids? Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites takes family-friendly hotels to a whole new arena with their Rixy Kids Club, which is apparently one of the biggest Kids Clubs in the entire Dubai. Here, your kids can have a great time with supervised activities, games, and entertainment fitting for different age groups. Our little Ally and Aaron loved the Toddlers Club, where they played in the slides many, many times, as well as play-pretend cooking. Look at the wallpapers in the play area too, so gorgeous! Plus, the nap area is big and looks very comfy for our little ones.

Additionally, you can also let your little ones splash around in the hotel’s dedicated children’s pool. Complete with an exhilarating water play zone boasting a colossal tipping bucket and exhilarating slides, it promises boundless excitement and joy for the little ones.

On top of this, you can also explore the Rixy Kingdom playground or even catch a family-friendly movie night. We appreciate how this superb hotel ensures that parents can enjoy some well-deserved time to unwind knowing their children are safe and having a blast. Oh, and when it comes to their food, the hotel offers a Kids Corner for breakfast, so kids can indulge themselves while the parents get a breath of relief in trying to find food that even the picky eaters like.
